Ivan Toney joined Peterborough United from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has praised former Newcastle United striker Ivan Toney on social networking site Twitter.
MacAnthony has spoken highly of the 22-year-old former Newcastle striker following Peterborough’s 3-2 win against Southend United away from home in League One on Saturday afternoon.
Toney, who joined Peterborough form Newcastle in the summer transfer window, scored the winner in the 87th minute.
MacAnthony has praised the 22-year-old former Northampton Town youngster on Twitter, and believes that he is one “hell of a player for his age”.

Toney is a very talented and promising young striker, but the 22-year-old struggled to make a huge impact during his time at Newcastle.
The youngster is doing well for The Posh at the moment, and the 22-year-old can only get better in the coming months.
Steve Evans’s side are going strong in League One at the moment and are aiming to win automatic promotion to the Championship at the end of the season.
