Sheffield United wanted Jack Marriott before he ended up signing for Derby County.

Darragh MacAnthony has revealed that Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder asked him about signing Jack Marriott, but deemed the striker too expensive.
Marriott ended up signing for Derby County, where he has gone on to score three goals in his first three Championship starts.
But Sheffield United were interested in the summer, before pulling out of the race because he was too costly.
The Blades had to look elsewhere to find a new striker, with their budget more limited.
Sheffield United are actually just ahead of Derby in the Championship table, as things stand.
Wilder’s side sit in third place, with the Rams just two points behind them in fifth.
