Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have both been linked with Marcus Maddison this summer.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed that Marcus Maddison’s release clause has been met, with the winger linked to both Leeds United and Nottingham Forest this summer.
Leeds Live have suggested that Maddison is on Leeds’ radar, while the Nottingham Post have indicated that Forest have an interest.
And Maddison’s exit from Peterborough could be starting to edge closer, after MacAnthony’s latest update.
Maddison missed Peterborough’s first pre-season friendly of the season against Stamford yesterday, and MacAnthony confirmed that his release clause had been activated.
Whether Forest or Leeds are the club that have made the bid remains to be seen.

Maddison was one of the most productive playmakers in the Football League last season, so Forest and Leeds could have competition in the race to sign him.
Forest have already strengthened their attacking midfield ranks this summer, but Leeds are yet to do much business, with Lewis Baker their first signing since Marcelo Bielsa took charge.
