Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has suggested that he would sign Queens Park Rangers striker Conor Washington back.
QPR bought Washington from Posh back in 2016, but the striker arguably hasn’t gone on to live up to expectation at Loftus Road.

Washington has struggled to find the net at Championship level, and Rangers fans seem to have run out of patience with the forward.
There have been suggestions that Washington could leave QPR this summer, and MacAnthony says he is open to the idea of bringing the forward back, although his wages may now be too expensive.
Washington left Posh after netting 15 goals in his last 16 goals for the League One side, but he has been unable to recreate that form at QPR.
Despite showing flashes of quality, Washington slipped down the pecking order last term, and may not feature in Steve McClaren’s plans for next campaign.
QPR are expected to bring in a new forward this summer, which could limit Washington’s opportunities further for the next campaign.
