The Derby County striker, Jack Marriott, could have been a West Bromwich Albion player had the Baggies manager, Darren Moore, had his way.

That is according to the Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony, who sanctioned Marriott’s to Derby in the summer.

He added:

MacAnthony previously suggested that Marriott’s former teammate at Peterborough, Marcus Maddison, was a West Brom target in the summer transfer window.
