The Peterborough United chairman says he has spoken to Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has claimed his side have enquired about ‘some’ Sheffield United players.
Sheffield United made seven fringe men available for either temporary or permanent transfers last week, although it remains to be seen if any of those were the focus of Posh’s attention.
According to MacAnthony, Peterborough could be priced out of moves for their Bramall Lane targets anyway.

However, the Irishman did have kind words to say about Blades manager Chris Wilder, after being asked on Twitter whether or not there has been contact between the two clubs.
He posted:
George Long, Ben Heneghan, Louis Reed, Nathan Thomas, Samir Carruthers, Caolan Lavery and James Hanson are the seven being allowed to leave Sheffield United this summer, with Clayton Donaldson and Chris Hussey released.
Meanwhile, Peterborough have already commenced their pre-season recruitment, capturing Aaron Chapman and Rhys Bennett from Accrington and Mansfield, respectively.
