The young Rangers defender is on his way out of Ibrox without having played for Steven Gerrard’s first team.

Scott Gray is heading to America after his release by Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers, according to one of his colleagues at Ibrox.
The 19-year-old announced last week he is leaving Rangers after a decade at the club.
Judging by some of his teammates’ social media activity, today was Gray’s last day at the Hummel Training Centre.
And one of those, the young forward Dapo Mebude, appears to have let slip the left-back’s next destination.
“Sad to see my bro leaving,” Mebude wrote on his Instagram story. “(B)est of luck in America @scott_g3”.

Gray failed to make a single senior appearance for Rangers and spent the second half of this season on loan to East Stirling.
He is one of three Gers youngsters, along with Liam Burt and Kyle Bradley, to confirm their departures from Ibrox last week.
Rangers have already agreed permanent deals with a trio of players, Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Steven Davis, ahead of next season.
