Rangers are currently seventh in the table after a disappointing start to life in the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers defender Danny Wilson has insisted to the club’s official website that they will not be changing their targets for this season.
The Gers headed into this season with high hopes after dominating in the Championship last year.
Many fans were hoping to see them make an instant return to challenging rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.
Instead, Mark Warburton’s side have struggled to adapt to the increase in quality, picking up just two wins from their first seven games of the campaign.

It leaves them seven points behind league leaders Celtic, who could increase that to ten should they win their game in hand.
At this point, their aim should be just to get back into the top half but Wilson insists they are not dropping their initial target.
“We won’t change our ambitions because of a couple of bad results or a slow start to the season because we need to be challenging near the top,” he told the club’s official website.
“Had we won the game at the weekend we would have been second but as it happens we are down to seventh – I wouldn’t read too much into that right now.”

While Wilson insists they will not be dropping their initial aims for this season, they must be secretly accepting a title challenge is beyond them after this poor start.
In truth, it was always likely to be a big ask and even more so after the start that Celtic have made under Brendan Rodgers.
Nonetheless, there is still more than enough in this current squad to compete higher up and Mark Warburton will be hoping to at least see his side show progress in the months to come.
