Glasgow Rangers had the summer signing to thank as they came from behind to beat Partick Thistle.
Danny Wilson has suggested that he would like to see Joe Dodoo enjoy a run in the Rangers team after his heroics at the weekend, the Evening Times reports.
Heading into the final 10 minutes of the Gers’ clash with Partick Thistle on Saturday, Mark Warburton’s men were a goal down and were struggling to create clear-cut chances.

However, that changed when Kenny Miller’s brilliant flick allowed Dodoo to smash home a fantastic volley to level the game.
And it was the same pair that linked up for the winner as Miller’s pass allowed the former Leicester youngster to slide the ball under the goalkeeper to send the away fans into a frenzy.
Though Dodoo has shown glimpses of his quality since his arrival at Ibrox, he had previously struggled to make a massive impact. However, his performance against Partick explained exactly why the Light Blues wanted to land the somewhat unproven forward in the summer.

And Wilson is hoping that the 21-year-old can continue to put his difficult start completely behind him, and now build upon his brilliant display over the coming months.
“He is a calm composed player. His first goal was a great finish and for him not to snatch at the second, especially at that time of the game, was impressive,” he said, as reported by the Evening Times.
“He has done well and this can be a platform for him to push on.
“He’s had a few injuries but now hopefully he can get a run. He has the qualities to kick on.”
