The goalkeeper is on loan at Huddersfield Town from Liverpool.
Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward has told the club’s official website that Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner has told him he intends to make him a better overall ‘keeper.
The 23-year-old is highly regarded at Anfield, with many believing he could develop into a future number one at the club.
With Simon Mignolet already at Liverpool and Loris Karius arriving this summer, though, Ward’s chances of first-team football were minimal this year.
As a result, he was sent out on a season-long loan deal with Wagner’s side in the Championship.

He has been ever present for them since then, featuring in all 16 of their league games and keeping four clean sheets so far.
The experience will prove vital for him moving forward and Ward says his temporary boss has told him he has a plan for him.
“Wagner told me to come here and enjoy it,” he told the club’s official website.
“He said his aim is to make me a better goalkeeper, so I can go back to Liverpool with better qualities and more experience.”

For now, Ward will be focused on helping Huddersfield continue their fine start to the season.
Sixteen games into the campaign they find themselves sitting third in the table with 29 points to their name, five behind second-placed Brighton & Hove Albion.
It means Huddersfield are firmly in the race for the promotion places this season and the goalkeeper says that is what he is focuding on.
“The ultimate goal in this division is to get promotion. For a club like this to finish in the play-offs would be massive,” he added.
“On a personal note, my aim is to just keep playing games, have a consistent level of performance and see where that takes me.”
