Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has told BBC Sport that Harry Kane does not plan to leave the club anytime soon.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has been in stunning form for the past three seasons.

The England international won the Premier League Golden Boot this season with 29 goals, scoring four more than Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

Tottenham left-back Rose has claimed that Kane does not plan to leave White Hart Lane in the summer.

“Someone like Harry Kane, I can tell you that his mindset will be ‘I’m staying at Tottenham, I’m going to break every single record, I’m going to captain this club into the new stadium’ so when you’ve got a player like him with that mindset I don’t think Tottenham have to worry,” Rose told BBC Sport.

Rose’s comments will be reassuring for the Tottenham fans, as they suggest that Kane has no plan to leave the North London club anytime soon.

Of course, if the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich came in and made big offers, then it would be a different story altogether, but there is no reason for the 23-year-old to leave Tottenham for another English club.

Spurs are challenging for the Premier League title, they are playing in the Champions League, the fans are in loud voice for all the games, and Kane is guaranteed to play week in week out. Life couldn’t be any better.
