Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is reportedly wanted by Everton in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Everton are ready to make a move for the England international left-back, as Manchester United and Manchester City cool their interest in the 27-year-old.

Rose had lost his place in the Spurs starting lineup and is not guaranteed a place in the team, but even then, it would not make any sense for the former Leeds United prospect to leave the North London outfit for Everton this summer.
Everton may be an ambitious club, but leaving Tottenham for the Merseyside outfit would be a step down for Rose, who earns £65,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star.

After all, the Englishman is used to playing in the Champions League and competing for the Premier League title at Spurs.
If Rose remains injury free and works hard, then it is only a matter of time before he re-establishes himself in Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
The England international defender would be better off waiting for an offer from a Champions League club or staying at Tottenham next season than move to Everton this summer.
