Tottenham Hotspur reached their first ever Champions League final last night.

Tottenham star Danny Rose spoke to reporters after his side’s thrilling 3-2 in over Ajax last night, and shared how Mauricio Pochettino used Liverpool’s win over Barcelona as inspiration for his team during a team-talk in their hotel, as quoted by the Sun.
Spurs were quite simply magnificent against the Dutch outfit last night, and thoroughly deserved their victory after a superb second-half hat-trick from Brazilian ace Lucas Moura.
Tottenham seemed dead and buried at half-time, trialing 2-0 on the night and 3-0 on aggregate, but Pochettino’s side summoned that little bit of extra energy and quality during the second 45.
And Rose shared with reporters the message given to him and his Spurs teammates by Pochettino in the hotel prior to the game, as quoted by the Sun:

“We saw Liverpool last night and it just goes to show it’s not over until it’s over. There were a few words said at half-time and we then played like that. We can beat anyone when we play like that. The gaffer mentioned it at the hotel before we left and said that’s the right attitude. How we started against Ajax in the first leg was not right and now we’re looking forward to the final.”
Tottenham will obviously have to be on their very best form, if they are to beat Liverpool on June 1st, but Pochettino’s side will now believe that anything is possible, after their incredible run in the Champions League this season.
And Spurs might just have some of their key players back and available for selection in three weeks time, with Harry Kane in particular desperate to play in the final.
