Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose made some controversial comments over the summer.

Rose’s public interview in The Sun over the summer, where he stated he deserved to be on more money, caused great frustration among Spurs’ fan base.
It was believed that Pochettino could take disciplinary measures against the full-back for making such disruptive comments just before the season started.

However, Rose has come back into contention at Tottenham recently – and has begun to feature again.
And the England international defender insists that he is now back in Pochettino’s good books.
“Me and the gaffer are fine,” Rose said. “We speak most days. For the last three years, the lads will tell you I’m probably the one who’s in his office the most, speaking to him and going through videos and sharing text messages, even going round to his house.
“He’s been great at integrating me back into the team and getting me some minutes. I thought him putting me on against Real Madrid, even though it was only for 10 minutes, was a class act on his part, making me feel part of it again, even though he didn’t need to bring me on.

“As far as I’m concerned, me and the gaffer are great and as long as we’ve both got the same goals – which is to win a trophy for Tottenham – then there’s nothing to worry about.”
Rose started Tottenham’s last match against Crystal Palace, and helped Pochettino’s side keep a clean-sheet in a 1-0 victory at Wembley.
Rose has been selected for Gareth Southgate’s England squad, and could feature in friendly matches against Brazil and Germany in the coming fortnight.
