Danny Rose has told the Telegraph that Tottenham Hotspur’s players were speaking about how loud the crowd was after their first game at their new ground.

Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 2-0 on Wednesday evening in the opening game at their new stadium.

Spurs were the dominant force in the contest, as they picked up a vital three points.

And Rose was very impressed with the atmosphere created on his first outing at Tottenham’s new ground.

“It was a bit surreal at the beginning when we were doing the warm-up,” Rose said. “There was a moment when the crowd were singing Dele’s name and we were saying after the game how loud it was. It was just an amazing night.”

Rose’s future at Spurs is still uncertain, after rumours linking him with a £50 million away, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Tottenham still have another four games to play at their new home this season and it will be important that they continue to pick up points.

Spurs have been struggling for form recently, and their place in the top four is now under threat.

Tottenham are currently sat in third place in the Premier League table, but they only have a one point advantage on both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Spurs are next in action on Tuesday evening, when they take on Manchester City in the Champions League.
