Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has admitted to Yahoo! Sport that Manchester City look very frightening at the moment.

Spurs will take on City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Pep Guardiola’s side are playing superb football at the moment and look set to win the league title this season.

The Citizens have won 15 successive Premier League matches, and there are suggestions that they could go the entire domestic league campaign unbeaten.

Ahead of the match, 27-year-old Tottenham and England international left-back Rose, who earns around £65,000 per week at Spurs according to The Telegraph, has admitted that City look very frightening.

“We’ll go there and relish it,” Rose told Yahoo! Sport. “They’re in good form. At the minute they do look very frightening – they’re scoring goals and they kept a clean sheet last night (in a 4-0 win at Swansea).

“But we’ve done alright there in the past couple of seasons and that should give us some confidence going there at the weekend.”

City will head into the match against Tottenham as favourites, and given that the match is at the Etihad Stadium, it is hard to see the Citizens’ drop all three points.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham, though, will fancy their chances of picking up at least a point from the encounter.
