Gibbs-White has appeared 21 times for Wolves in this season’s Premier League

Danny Murphy has tipped the Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder, Morgan Gibbs-White, for an England call-up.
Gibbs-White has appeared 21 times for Wolves in this season’s Premier League – although just four of those outings were made as a starter.
The likes of Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Leander Dendoncker are largely responsible for that, but discussing the trio on Talksport earlier, Murphy – who won nine Three Lions caps – said: “And the young kid they’ve got there – I don’t know if you’ve seen much of Gibbs-White? He’s another one.
“Once he has a six-month spell in that first team playing regularly he’ll be in the England squad.”
Murphy and Jim White were joined by the former Wolves midfielder, Jamie O’Hara, who is now the player-assistant manager at Billericay Town.
And White joked: “If (Wolves) want to loan (Gibbs-White) out, Billericay have gotta be in there.”
A product of Wolves’ academy system, Gibbs-White only turned 19 in January of this year.

The Stafford-born player has been capped by England at various youth levels up to and including under-19.
He signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract early last year, tying him to Molineux until June 2022.
