Danny Murphy tells the Tottenham Hotspur boss to sign this type of player.
Danny Murphy has told The Evening Standard that Tottenham Hotspur need another creative player in the January transfer window.
Tottenham have plenty of attacking talent but the likes of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Moussa Sissoko have only managed to set up seven goals between them in the Premier League so far this season.
Eriksen, in particular, came in for a bit of criticism earlier in the season for his lack of productivity in the final third, but the Danish playmaker has scored five times in as many league games for Spurs.

Ex-Tottenham man Murphy is a big fan of the former Ajax starlet, but the now-retired midfielder still believes that Mauricio Pochettino needs more of a creative spark – even if finding such a talent is tough in January.
“I still feel Spurs would benefit from adding another creative player but how do they find someone better than what they have, especially in January?” he told The Evening Standard.
“Christian Eriksen is starting to deliver again for Tottenham. He is a super player but earlier in the season, he was not producing enough for the quality he has.”

Tottenham have had an okay season, but it could be a lot better.
Pochettino’s side are one point behind fourth-placed Arsenal in the race for Champions League qualification, but 10 points separate them and Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Good business in January could make the world of difference come May.
