West Ham United have made a disappointing start to the 2017-18 Premier League campaign.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Danny Murphy has suggested in The London Evening Standard that West Ham United’s Mark Noble is coming towards the end of his career.

Noble has been on the books of West Ham his entire professional club football career so far and is 30 years of age.

The central midfielder remains an important player in the Hammers’ team, but former England Under-21 international has not been at his best for a while now.

Former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Murphy has suggested that Noble is coming towards the end.

The former England international has also suggested that the West Ham midfield is not as strong as it might be.

“Perhaps the midfield is not as strong as it might be,” Murphy wrote about West Ham in The London Evening Standard.

“Mark Noble is a fine player but he is coming towards the end, but I am confident they have enough to ensure a solid season.”
