Christian Eriksen scored twice for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.

The former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder made the comments following Eriksen’s performance against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
The Denmark international attacking midfielder scored both goals in Spurs’ 2-1 victory over Stoke away from home at the bet365 Stadium in the Premier League.
Murphy believes that Eriksen, who joined Tottenham from Ajax in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.5 million, has improved under manager Pochettino, who was appointed in the role in the summer of 2014.

Murphy said on Match of the Day on BBC One on Saturday night (11:01pm, April 7, 2018): “Just when Spurs needed someone to step up, he did today. I mean, his awareness is fantastic.
“I think he has grown actually under Pochettino, like so many of their players have indeed.”
