Danny Murphy says that Arsenal gave the impression of a mid-table side in their 2-0 north London derby defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Arsenal suffered a massive blow in the top four race after losing 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby on Sunday.
The defeat ensured that Arsenal will finish below Tottenham for the first time in 22 years.
Tottenham were arguably the better of the two sides and created loads of chances. In fact, the scoreline could easily have been 3-0 or 4-0, had they been more clinical.
Former Liverpool player and now BBC pundit, Danny Murphy, says that there was a stark contrast between the body language of the two sides.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
He says that while Tottenham were athletic, energetic, vibrant, their derby rivals were all over the place in many ways.
Murphy adds that Spurs are a well drilled side whereas Arsenal gave the impression of a mid-table side who were just trying to hang in there.
“Arsenal were all over the place in many ways. Not even that good going forward which they are. It actually looked like Tottenham were a top four side and they were a mid table side just trying to hang in there,” said Murphy on BBC Match of the Day.
With that victory, Tottenham have now won their ninth consecutive game in the Premier League.
They have an enviable home record this season, having picked up 50 points this season, more than in any previous league season at the Lane (via opta).
Also, Spurs remain the only side who are unbeaten at home in the premier league this season.
Arsenal are sixth in the table, six points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, and are facing the prospect of dropping out of the top four this season.
