Pundit Danny Murphy was up in arms after how Harry Kane reacted to the shove from Abdoulaye Doucoure that led to his sending off as Tottenham Hotspur were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton.
While Doucoure did put a hand in Kane’s face, many felt the latter exaggerated his reaction by falling to the floor, leading to the former being shown a direct red card.
Pundit Danny Murphy is certainly one of those, as he slammed Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane for his antics against Everton powerhouse Abdoulaye Doucoure.
What pundit Danny Murphy said about the Harry Kane & Abdoulaye Doucoure incident after Tottenham drew to Everton
The £200,000-a-week (The Sun) man is often accused of diving and making a meal out of situations, and has been for a number of years.
Whether Kane did so or not in this instance, the Toffees ended up walking away with a 1-1 draw, courtesy of a last-gasp belter from Michael Keane after the England captain’s initial opener.
Pundit Danny Murphy was raging after what he perceived was an overreaction from Harry Kane, as Tottenham dropped two points against Everton.

“Not enough to send him on the floor, Kane’s embarrassing himself. Why’s he gone over like that stitching someone up? Doucoure would’ve been sent off anyway.”
“A little flick to the face does not send you the ground like you’ve just been punched but Doucoure’s an idiot. He knows the rules, he’s let his team down. For Kane to go down like this is embarrassing, if my kids played like that I’d apologise and probably need to sit in a dark room with a cold flannel on my face”, he said on talkSPORT.
Clearly, what Tottenham striker Harry Kane did not go down well with pundit Danny Murphy and it seems as if the general consensus has been similar from fans and pundits alike after witnessing his antics against Everton.
