The midfielder is in the headlines once again after another off pitch discretion.
Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish
Former Premier League midfielder Danny Murphy has told talkSPORT that Aston Villa will not sack Jack Grealish as they do not want to lose him to another club on a free.
The Villa youngster is one again in the spotlight this week after another off-field issue involving partying.
It is the latest indiscretion from the midfielder who was dropped from the first team last season by Remi Garde after a similar incident.
The situation is currently under investigation by the club, who are likely to fine or suspend him as punishment.

Some fans would prefer to see him sacked so the club can wash their hands of a troublesome player but Murphy has explained why that will not happen.
“The thing is if they sack him he can go somewhere else for free,” he told talkSPORT.
“They will be aware of that, he will know about that and his agent will as well. So I don’t think that’s going to happen. Punishment is going to be the way.”

The problem for Villa is that Grealish has actually started this season in good form.
So far he has managed an average of 1.4 key passes per game, the fourth-best record at the club this season.
He also has the third-best record for shots on target per game and is also their second highest goalscorer,
Those stats highlight he is playing a key role in Roberto di Matteo’s side and they cannot afford to lose him, leaving the club in a tricky situation as they determine what to do about his off-pitch problems.
