Danny Murphy prefers Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to Tottenham Hotspur ace Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen is one of the attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is a key figure in the current Tottenham team.
The 25-year-old has scored three goals and provided two assists in eight league appearances for Spurs so far this season.
The Denmark international has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2013 when he joined from Ajax for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.5 million.

Former Spurs midfielder Murphy has said that he cannot see Eriksen getting any better and prefers Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho also operates as an attacking midfielder, and the Brazil international can play as a winger as well.
The 25-year-old Brazil international has scored two goals and provided one assist in four Premier League matches for Liverpool so far this season.
Tottenham and Liverpool will face each other at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Sunday.

“Eriksen is a fine player, who racks up the goals and assists, and is probably more tactically disciplined than Coutinho, but I would still rather have the Liverpool man in my team,” Murphy wrote in The London Evening Standard.
“I don’t see Eriksen getting much better than this, whereas I believe Coutinho still has some way to go to fulfil his potential.
“While Eriksen is a brilliant passer and reads the game superbly, he lacks Coutinho’s trickery. The Brazilian has a quality that is so valuable in football – the ability to beat a man in a one-on-one situation.”
