Harry Winks did not play well for Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City at the weekend.

The former Tottenham midfielder, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, was not impressed with how Winks performed in the middle of the park for the North London outfit at the weekend.
The 23-year-old England international failed to impose himself on the match, was sloppy in possession in the first half, and did not great against superior City players.
According to WhoScored, Winks had a pass accuracy of 91.7%, took 56 touches, made two clearances and blocked one shot.
Murphy wrote in The Daily Mail: “I like Winks and I’m sure he wanted to keep the midfield shape and stay close to his team-mates.
“But sometimes when you’re on the pitch and you see De Bruyne breaking free, rotating positions and causing havoc, you’ve got to stay with him; nail him down.”

Positive result
City were the better team against Tottenham, and the Etihad Stadium faithful will be disappointed that the team did not end up with maximum points from the encounter.
On the other hand, Spurs fans will be pleased with the final result, although they will not have been too impressed with how the team performed.
Following the result, Tottenham will be confident that they can challenge Liverpool and City for the Premier League title this season.
