Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli has scored four goals in his last three appearances.
Danny Murphy has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on 4th January, that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has been unfairly criticised so far this season.
Alli came in for some stick over the first few months of the season, with many accusing the England international of allowing his standards to slip since last term.
However, the 20-year-old has shown his very best in Tottenham’s last three matches.

Alli has netted four goals in his last three appearances, to help Spurs move into the top four.
And Murphy said: “Dele Alli for me has taken a little bit of unfair criticism earlier in the season. He was getting into good positions and getting into good positions, he just wasn’t finishing. The last couple of games he has found his goalscoring form.
“The little combination [Alli has with Kane] is their main weapon.”

Alli has now scored eight goals in the Premier League so far this term, just two short of the total which he reached in the whole of last season.
Spurs will be relying on Alli to maintain his high standards, when they take on Chelsea later this evening.
Tottenham are looking to stop Antonio Conte’s side from setting a Premier League record of 14 straight victories.
If Spurs can win the London derby they will move to within seven points of the Blues and into third place in the Premier League table.
