Tottenham Hotspur saw the talents of Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez on Tuesday evening.

Mahrez started on the wing for Leicester during their 2-1 triumph over Spurs in midweek.
The Algerian winger cut inside and took aim, before curling the ball beyond Hugo Lloris to score his side’s second goal of the match.
And Murphy feels that Mahrez is exactly the sort of player who Tottenham should be looking to sign.

“He’d suit Tottenham. They need someone like him,” Murphy said.
“They need someone who can add a bit of dynamism to their team.”
Tottenham’s defeat to Leicester has left them trailing league leaders Manchester City by 16 points.
Spurs are actually now closer to bottom of the table Crystal Palace than City, after what has been a disappointing domestic campaign so far.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have now failed to beat West Bromwich Albion and Leicester in their last two fixtures, and have slipped down to seventh place in the Premier League table.
Tottenham are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Watford at Vicarage Road, in what looks to be another tough fixture for the out-of-form side.
