Danny Mills has raved about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah on Racing Post, but he does not think that his teammate Sadio Mane is at his best yet.

The former Leeds United and Manchester City right-back has been impressed with the display produced by Salah for Liverpool so far this season.

However, Mills does not think that Salah’s teammate and fellow forward Mane is having the best of times at the moment.

Mills said on Racing Post: “He is just outstanding at the moment. He is that bright spark. I know he can be a little bit greedy at times, but Mane hasn’t quite hit the ground running as fast as he did last season.

“The way that he plays, his body movement, the way that he picks the ball up, goes past people, he is just outstanding. He creates chances, he scores goals. He is just a superb player.”
