Tottenham Hotspur have not yet signed any players this summer.
Former England defender Danny Mills says Tottenham Hotspur need to sign up to three players in order to challenge for the title.
Mills, speaking on SkySports Morning View (8/8 at 10.30am), said that while he views the sale of Kyle Walker as smart financial business, he still feels the Lilywhites are falling short.
He believes Mauricio Pochettino’s side lack the necessary strength in depth to win the title.

Mills said: “It’s a great bit of business, £50m you can’t turn it down. Trippier hasn’t really had the chances, he’s played as back-up, now at 26 he has the opportunity.”
Discussing the lack of signings he said: “It’s a little bit of a worry. They have got a very good 1-11, 1-13, but beyond that strength in depth is a problem, and Wembley will be difficult for them.
“I do think they need two or three signings just for cover.”

Tottenham have been linked with several players this summer but whether it be indecision or their valuation not aligning, they are yet to take the plunge on any.
An injury to Kieran Trippier against Juventus has highlighted the risk of selling Walker, and they face starting the season against Newcastle with a fill-in right-back.
This could be a position Spurs look to strengthen, while there are still questions whether they need another winger, another back-up centre-back and a striker.
Tottenham have left it late, and will have to buy a lot more shrewdly than they did last summer when only one of their four additions, Victor Wanyama, could be judged a success.
