Danny Mills raved about Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon on talkSPORT (1:55pm, November 8, 2020).
The former Leeds United and Manchester City right-back was impressed by the performance produced by Reguilon during Tottenham’s 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Sunday.
Mills was on co-commentary duty for the game on talkSPORT, and he named the former Real Madrid right-back as his Man of the Match.
The Englishman said on talkSPORT (1:55pm, November 8, 2020): “I am going to go with Reguilon. I think he was outstanding at left-back. Very, very good on the ball, but his defending as well.
“Some of the challenges that he made, last-ditch defending in the right positions, good headed clearances as well for a smaller guy. Very, very good player. Great signing for Tottenham.”
How did Sergio Reguilon play against West Bromwich Albion?
Reguilon did not have the best of starts to the game and appeared to struggle a bit, but the 23-year-old grew into the match and did end up as one of the better players on the pitch.
