Everton are going strong in the Premier League at the moment.

Former Leeds United and Manchester City defender Danny Mills suggested on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (broadcast from 7pm, September 19, 2016) that Everton can do what Tottenham Hotspur did last season.
Tottenham finished third in the Premier League during the 2015-16 campaign, but until the final weeks, they were challenging for the title.
The North London outfit are expected to launch a serious challenge for the title yet again this season.

Everton had a disappointing 2015-16 campaign, but under new manager Ronald Koeman, the Merseyside outfit are doing well at the moment.
The Toffees are currently second in the Premier League table with 13 points from five matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
Former Leeds right-back Mills has suggested that Everton could push for the Premier League title this season.
“Are they as good as Tottenham last season?” said Mills on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (broadcast from 7pm, September 19, 2016). “Probably, you have to say.
“They have got a similar sort of squad. It’s a small squad. They have got to keep those players fit. They are very reliant on two or three players.
“If they get injured or dip in form, they might struggle, but there is no reason why they can’t push as close as Tottenham did, I think, last season.”

Tottenham’s success during 2015-16 campaign should not be undermined, but it must also be remembered that three of the biggest teams in the Premier League severely underperformed.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea all could have done much better last season.
City have started the 2016-17 campaign brilliantly, while United and Chelsea are not that far behind.
Arsenal remain a strong team, while Tottenham and Liverpool will fancy their chances of at least finishing in the Champions League places.
With that in mind, it is going to be hard for Everton to even finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
