Leeds United made their first permanent signing of the January window by bringing in Pablo Hernandez.

Danny Mills has told BT Sport, during their live FA Cup coverage on 9th January, that Leeds United still need to add another two loanees in the January transfer window.

Leeds have had a very promising opening half of the new campaign, and they currently sit in fifth place in the Championship table.

The Whites have already brought in Pablo Hernandez on a permanent transfer.

And Mills claims that Leeds should be on the hunt for two more additions this month, with a striker needing to be near the top of their wishlist.

“I think it’s important to add another couple of loanees in this window,” Mills said. “If Leeds can add another striker that would be important.”

Leeds are thought to be on the lookout for a striker in January, with a number of names already linked.

Leeds were rumoured to be interested in Dave Nugent, but he moved to Derby County from Middlesbrough.

The Whites are still believed to have an interest in West Ham United’s Ashley Fletcher, with a deal possible in the coming weeks (The Sun).

Leeds could also target a centre-back, with Monk’s options short in that position at the moment.
