Leeds United have been absent from the Premier League since 2004.

Danny Mills has told Radio Yorkshire that he expects Leeds United to enjoy a lengthy return to the Premier League, when they finally get there.
Leeds have been absent from the top flight since 2004.
They came close to securing a playoff spot in the Championship last term, but one victory in their last seven matches scuppered that dream as United finished seventh.

Manager Garry Monk left the club last month but his successor will be charged with the task of mounting a very serious bid to finish in the top six next season.
The passionate Leeds fans played a role in their superb form for a lot of season, with the Whites only losing five league games at Elland Road last term.
And Mills, who spent five years with the Yorkshire giants, says that the “absolutely outstanding” support can help Leeds stay in the Premier League for many years.

He told Radio Yorkshire: “I’ve said all along, if Leeds get back to the Premier League, they’ll stay in the Premier League.
“To have 30,000 people, 14-15,000 season ticket holders last season, that’s phenomenal. That’s absolutely outstanding, it’s a massive club. It needs to get there.”
Owner Andrea Radrizzani has not yet appointed a replacement for Monk – who has since joined Middlesbrough – but the natives are growing restless and there is a feeling that the longer they go without a manager, the worse it’ll be when it comes to recruiting players this summer.
