Leeds United still haven’t announced Garry Monk’s successor.

Danny Mills has told The Express that former club Leeds United cannot expect to make waves in the transfer market until they appoint a new manager.
Leeds have been without a manager since May 25 following Garry Monk’s shock resignation.
Plenty of names have been linked to the role and former Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka “would like” the job, according to The Telegraph.

The Whites signed Hadi Sacko on a permanent deal earlier this month but there is not a great deal of speculation linking the club to any further transfers.
And Mills, who spent five years at Elland Road, believes that the delay in appointing Monk’s successor is doing nothing for their transfer aspirations.
He told The Express: “Ultimately players will sign for the manager.

“Yes players will sign for a club and will want to go for financial reasons, locality, size of the club and history, etc. But ultimately they want to know who the manager is.
“Some players will sign for a manager just because of that relationship. It’s something they need to get sorted out very quickly.”
New owner Andrea Radrizzani, who took full control of United just days before Monk walked out, claimed on Twitter on Tuesday that he would be meeting candidates this week.
