The Tottenham Hotspur man missed a good chance for England on Tuesday.

Danny Mills has suggested to BBC Sport that Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose should have done better with the chance that came his way on Tuesday.
England were held to a 0-0 draw away to Slovenia in their third game in World Cup qualifying, though the Three Lions remain top of Group F on seven points.
It was a game of few clear-cut chances, but the Spurs left-back certainly had one of them.

Rose did well to cut in between two Slovenia players in the final 15 minutes to work a shooting opportunity from inside the area, but it was on his weaker foot and he pulled it horribly wide of the post.
And Mills says that he certainly should have hit the target at a minimum.

“Danny Rose got himself into the perfect position but then nose-bleed time. A swing of the right foot and dragged it two or three yards wide,” he told BBC Sport. “You have to hit the target from there.”
It was certainly a good chance, but perhaps Rose can be excused on the basis that he is a left-back and the fact that it came on his weaker foot.
His overall performance divided opinion but the Tottenham man did look to be one of England’s better players on the night.
