Danny Mills admitted on Sky Sports News on Monday morning (10:56am, April 22, 2019) that he is worried about Leeds United in regarding to their chances of clinching automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds are third in the Championship table at the moment with 82 points from 43 matches, level on points with second-placed and Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side slipped from second to third last Friday following their 2-1 defeat to Wigan Athletic at Elland Road in the Championship.

Former Leeds right-back Mills has admitted that he is worried that the Whites may not finish in the top two of the Championship table this season.

Mills said about Leeds on Sky Sports News on Monday morning (10:56am, April 22, 2019): “I am just a little bit worried now that they might have missed that opportunity. The loss on Friday was enormous.”

Bouncing back

With just three rounds of matches left in the Championship this season, anything is possible, and Leeds certainly have a great chance of getting promoted automatically.

Bielsa’s side will return to action on Monday evening when they take on Brentford away from home in the Championship, and they will have to bounce back from their defeat to Wigan and pick up all three points.
