Patrick Bamford did not play well for Leeds United at the weekend.

The former Leeds right-back has given his take on the “languid” style of Bamford, and believes that the 25-year-old is technically very good.
Waddle, who could operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, played for big clubs such as Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield Wednesday back in the 1980s and the 1990s.
Mills said about Bamford Sky Sports Main Event (12:37pm, August 10, 2019): “He has that languid style at times that you are thinking, ‘Is he really trying? Is he giving 100%?’
“I don’t think he does not, I think it’s just the style he has got. It’s a bit like Chris Waddle back in the day, the dropped shoulders, he never looks like he is sprinting. He is technically very, very good.”
Lacking confidence?
Bamford is a very good forward, but the former Chelsea and Middlesbrough forward failed to make his mark against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship at the weekend.
The former England Under-21 international forward missed a number of chances, as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Former Leeds defender Stephen Warnock believes that the 25-year-old is lacking confidence at the moment.
Warnock said on EFL on Quest TV (9pm, August 10, 2019): “A lot of the chances fell to Patrick Bamford today. He’s not in form, he’s not got that confidence.
“Eddie Nketiah, is he going to be the man who can put pressure on him, or take his position and start scoring the goals to fire Leeds up the table?”
