Danny Ings labelled Aston Villa a ‘good team’ on Instagram after his Southampton side recorded a 4-3 win at Villa Park on Sunday.
Jack Grealish responded to the striker’s message by simply stating ‘my brother man’ as Ings now awaits news on a potential injury.
The Saints ripped Villa apart for the majority of the game, with Ings putting his team 4-0 up with a sublime goal from outside of the box in the second half.
Grealish then tried his best to mount a very unlikely fightback for his team – he assisted Tyrone Mings for Villa’s opening goal, won a penalty and then scored deep into stoppage-time.
All in all, that was too late from Villa’s perspective and it now means they have lost back-to-back games.

Dean Smith will be well aware that seven goals conceded from their last two games needs to be addressed, but equally, they need to keep their feet on the ground because of the quality start they have made.
As for Ings, Southampton fans and England supporters will be hoping his injury isn’t too serious because he has been ripping it up for nearly two seasons now without any injury worries.
He will be hoping to link up with Grealish for England in a couple of weeks rather than facing the possibility of time on the sidelines.
