Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts is currently on international duty with Wales.

Sky Sports pundit Danny Higginbotham has raved about Leeds United ace Tyler Roberts by praising his ability to play in the number 10 role for club and country.
The 20-year-old, who is a natural number nine, has been deployed in behind the striker in recent weeks by his club manager Marcelo Bielsa and most recently by Wales boss Ryan Giggs.
Roberts started Wales’ 1-0 friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday night, with Higginbotham comparing him with his international teammate and Bournemouth’s £11.5 million [Sky Sports] man David Brooks.
Speaking to Match Centre on Sky Sports News (21/03/2019 at 10:25 am), Higginbotham spoke about the ‘beauty’ of Roberts game.
“Yes, he is [playing in a new position for Leeds] and I think that can work well with Wales,” Higginbotham told Sky Sports News. “He’s near enough playing in a number 10 role – but he has the licence to get forward.
“He seems to have adjusted fantastically well to that position. He is always looking. Can he get on the ball? And the beauty of him now is when he is picking up the ball he is facing the opposition goal. And once again, similar to [David] Brooks, he doesn’t just pass the ball and stop. He passes the ball and gets going again. He’s always looking to get on the front foot.
“I think it will do [goals will come with experiemce]. He’s playing a different role now where he’ll sit back. He’s creating a lot of assists and the goals will come, I don’t think there is any question about that.”

After that friendly win against Trinidad and Tobago, Roberts will be looking to feature in Giggs’ starting XI once again when they take on Slovakia in their Euro 2020 qualifier on Sunday.
Over the course of the season, he has played 20 Championship games for his club, scoring three goals and supplying his teammates with four assists [transfermarkt].
At this moment in time, Leeds are sitting third in the Championship table and they will be looking to move back into the automatic places after the international break.
They suffered a damaging defeat to promotion rivals Sheffield United last time out and they will be looking to get back to winning ways against Millwall.
