Liverpool have been grinding out results to success in recent weeks as they sit top of the Premier League table.

Sky Sports pundit Danny Higginbotham has praised the recent performances of Naby Keita and claimed that ‘not many people’ are talking about the in-form Liverpool ace.
Following his move from RB Leipzig last summer, Keita struggled to prove his worth on a consistent basis and found himself in and out of Jurgen Klopp’s XI.
But in recent weeks, he has scored a number of crucial goals for the club, both in their Premier League title charge and their recent Champions League win against Porto.
Speaking to Match Centre on Sky Sports News (11/04/2019 10:30 am), former Stoke City defender Higginbotham spoke about Keita hitting form at the ‘right time’ for his club.
“He has taken time to adjust,” Higginbotham told Sky Sports News. “I think he’s benefited from the part where he can go higher up the pitch. I just feel like he’s hitting form at the right time because not many people have spoken about him as in terms of the midfield.
“Now what you want to see your midfielders getting goals. There is an onus on the front three, but if you’ve got a midfielder that starts to hit form like Keita is then it’s nothing but a good thing.”

On Wednesday night, the Reds beat Porto 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League encounter, with Keita opening the scoring for the home team.
Added with that, last Friday, he scored the equalising goal as Liverpool came from behind to beat Southampton 3-1 in a crucial Premier League clash.
Now, Klopp will be hoping he can add to those tally’s when Chelsea visit Anfield at the weekend in what will be another pivotal week in the race to win the title.
