Blackburn Rovers Danny Graham is a former Sunderland player.
Graham joined Sunderland from Swansea City in January 2013 for a transfer fee reported by The Chronicle to be worth £5 million.
The 33-year-old striker moved to Blackburn in the summer of 2016 after a loan spell at Ewood Park.
The former Middlesbrough man struggled to make an impact at Sunderland, and during his time at the Stadium of Light, he was sent out on loan to Hull City, Boro, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackburn.
Blackburn striker Graham has reflected on his time at Sunderland, and the 33-year-old does not seem to have had a great time at the Black Cats.
Graham told The Telegraph: “I have regrets about how it worked out but it was a very tough time for me there – the low point of my career. I found myself playing under three or four managers and in and out of the first-team squad.
“It was tough under Di Canio. His training was very intense, with not many days off. He never explained why he was getting rid of me, he just said we’re going to be bringing in some new strikers and you can go on loan.”
Blackburn Rovers spell
Graham may have struggled at Sunderland, but the striker seems to be having a good spell at Blackburn.
The former Swansea City star has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 16 Championship starts for Rovers so far this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the 33-year-old made 28 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for Blackburn, scoring 12 goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
