Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater has responded to Aston Villa star Jack Grealish’s post on Instagram following the match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Villa got the better of Arsenal 3-0 away from home in North London in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Grealish, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, was arguably the best player on the pitch.
The England international played a key role in two of the goals that Dean Smith’s side scored and went close to scoring himself.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old took five shots of which two were on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 81.8%, took 49 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made one interception.

Grealish has posted a picture on Instagram of himself along with Ross Barkley and John McGinn in the Villa dressing room after the win against Arsenal, and Chelsea midfielder Drinkwater, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa Park, has praised them.
Against Arsenal, Barkley, on loan at Villa from Chelsea, played six key passes and put in seven crosses, while fellow midfielder McGinn played three key passes, according to WhoScored.
Drinkwater responded: “Some trio 🔥👏🏼”.
Micah Richards responded: “Unbelievable! What a player”.
Meanwhile, former Villa star Ian Taylor has expressed his delight on Twitter at the result on Sunday evening.
