Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United are being heavily linked with Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard – and he has impressed his country.
Damsgaard started for Denmark on Sunday, taking on Moldova in what proved to be a comfortable 8-0 victory.
Damsgaard scored twice in the rout as well as picking up two assists, proving his quality ahead of the European Championships this summer.
Bold have now given Damsgaard a rating of four out of five for his display, branding him ‘excellent’.
They added that Damsgaard showed his ‘sublime technique’, staking a real claim for a starting spot in the Denmark side this summer.
Leeds and Spurs may well be interested in how Damsgaard fared last night, even if his display came against a relative minnow in Moldova.

The Daily Star reported last month that Leeds are challenging Tottenham for Damsgaard’s signature, with Southampton and West Ham United also keen.
Damsgaard, 20, looks to be a huge talent for the future, and having shown it for his club, he is now proving it with his country too ahead of a potential big Premier League move.
