Leeds United should make a move for Daniel Pinillos, who is leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion may not be willing to pay the £3.5 million that Leeds United want for Charlie Taylor, as reported by The Express & Star, but it is only a matter of time before the defender departs the Whites.

The 23-year-old is one of the best left-backs in the Championship, and since his contract with Leeds runs out in the summer and he has not signed a new deal, he is certain to leave the West Yorkshire outfit in the coming months.

Leeds need to start preparing for life after Taylor and sign a replacement; Daniel Pinillos would be perfect fit for the Whites.

Pinillos has revealed on social networking site Twitter that he is leaving Nottingham Forest, meaning that he will become a free agent in the summer (click here to read more).

The Spanish left-back has had injury problems during his spell at Forest, but the 24-year-old has proved himself in the Championship.

When fit and on firm, the former Cordoba defender is one of the best left-backs in the Championship.

Leeds should make a move for Pinillos now. The Whites would not have to pay a transfer fee for the defender, who could be tempted into joining the Elland Road outfit as they would be aiming to finish in the Championship playoffs next season.
