Dele Alli has only been at Everton for two minutes, but according to a report from TeamTalk, the Toffees are already thinking about moving Alli on this summer.

The one-time young prodigy hasn’t has the best of starts to life at Goodison Park. He’s yet to start a single league game under Frank Lampard and when he has appeared off the bench, he’s looked languid, disinterested and, to be honest, he’s not been up to scratch.

Everton are already reportedly thinking about getting rid of Alli, and while that may be the right decision for the Merseyside club, there’s one team that will surely be absolutely raging if Alli leaves after just six months – Tottenham Hotspur.

Alli joined Everton on a free transfer, but add-ons could have seen the deal reach a fee as high as £40m.

We don’t know what those add-ons are, but we can imagine that six substitute appearances and a relegation battle won’t trigger many of the clauses that Spurs are waiting on.

If Alli goes, those add-ons will never be paid out, and ultimately, Spurs will have sold a two-time PFA Young Player of the Year winner for absolutely nothing.

Alli was once touted to be the next big thing at Spurs, but now he’s gone, and they may not receive a single penny for him.

As you can imagine, Daniel Levy will probably be fuming at the prospect of missing out on millions of pounds, but Everton have to work in their best interests, and if they can receive a fee for Alli while also dodging paying Spurs, getting rid of the midfielder could be the right decision.
