The next two transfer windows are set to be very crucial for Tottenham Hotspur because it could see a number of high-profile names leave the club.

Daniel Levy has opened up about the struggles to sell Tottenham Hotspur’s wantaway stars as he stated that it’s ‘not always possible’ to do that.
The Spurs chairman stated that in ‘90% of instances’ during the summer either a ‘buyer could not be found’ or the player that wanted to leave ‘did not wish to join the club that expressed an interest in buying them’.
Whilst Levy didn’t name any Spurs players, he is perhaps referring to someone like Christian Eriksen, who expressed his desire to leave the club after the Champions League final in June, as reported by Sky Sports.
Speaking to Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust meeting, Levy was very honest when talking about trying to part ways with wantaway stars.
“Not always possible to sell players,” Levy told the Trust meeting. “In 90% of instances either a buyer could not be found for a player or the player did not wish to join the club that had expressed an interest in buying them, so Tottenham were not able to make the changes that were desired this summer.”

These next two transfer windows could prove to be very crucial in where Tottenham will be in the medium to long term.
It is looking likely that there will be a revamp of the squad and certain senior stars will move on, whether it be in January or next summer.
Regardless of the struggles Spurs currently find themselves in, Mauricio Pochettino still has a number of high-quality players at his disposal and replacing them will still be very difficult.
