Jordan makes the comments about James while discussing his dismissal against Chelsea at Elland Road in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
Simon Jordan on Leeds United’s Daniel James
Jordan said on talkSPORT (11:25am, May 13, 2022): “Dan James has been a fundamental disappointment all season to Leeds and a waste of money, in my view.”

Harsh?
In our opinion, Daniel James has been disappointing for Leeds, but we should not forget that former Manchester United winger is only 24.
And he has not always been played in his natural position.
James is not a natural striker, but there have been occasions when he has played in that role due to injury to Patrick Bamford.
According to WhoScored, James has played as many as 19 games this season as a centre-forward.
The Welshman is a winger, and he needs to be used out side.
James has made 29 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds this season.
The Leeds no. 20 has scored four goals and given four assists in those games.
