James has admitted the last few days have been ‘tough’, after a proposed move to Leeds fell through on deadline day.

Daniel James’ comments on returning to Swansea City training could deal Leeds United with a double blow – ahead of February 13’s clash between the two sides.
James’ proposed move to Elland Road fell through at the last minute, despite the 21-year-old undergoing a medical at Elland Road. The Mirror claimed the two clubs could not agree how to pay a £1.5million loan fee.
The Wales international commented on his move to Leeds, and stated that he still loves it at Swansea and is delighted to be back in training – though he did admit the last few days has been “tough”.
“It has been a tough few days with everything that has gone on,” James said. “But I am back here now, I trained today and I really enjoyed it. I do love it here, the boys have welcomed me back and there were a few laughs and jokes.”
James is now set to return to Graham Potter’s side ahead of Saturday’s clash against Millwall at the Liberty Stadium, and that means he could be in line to face Leeds United on February 13.
The winger did not feature against Leeds earlier in the season, remaining on the bench as the two sides played out an enthralling 2-2 draw. Swansea travel to Elland Road in just over a week’s time.

With James now returning to the Swansea side and Leeds struggling for form – having lost four of their last six league games – he could come back to haunt Bielsa, delivering a double blow.
Missing out on James was a blow, and now the winger helping Swansea dent Leeds’ chances of promotion could hit Leeds twice within the space of a fortnight. The Mirror’s report claim Leeds are likely to re-enter the market this summer for James.
