Leeds United boss Daniel Farke has praised Tottenham Hotspur loanee Joe Rodon after his performance against Millwall.
Joe Rodon has been hailed as a ‘warrior’ by Leeds United boss Daniel Farke this afternoon.
Leeds headed down to South London this afternoon with a feisty meeting with Millwall on the schedule.
The Lions started the better side but were picked off on the break as Joel Piroe fired Leeds ahead.
Piroe added number two following Daniel James’ scuffed shot before Georginio Rutter fired home number three.
Three goals, three points, a clean sheet and a happy fanbase heading back to West Yorkshire – it’s been a great day for Leeds.

Daniel Farke praises ‘warrior’ Joe Rodon
The three goals will delight Farke, but so will the clean sheet at the other end.
Millwall piled on the pressure early on but the Leeds defender stood strong and threw their bodies on the line.
Rodon personified that attitude, taking an injury to the head in the first half before playing on with a bandage.
Rodon saw through the full 90 minutes, recording four clearances, one interception, one blocked shot and a staggering nine aerials won.
The Welshman – signed on loan from Tottenham Hotspur – is getting back to his best with Leeds and Farke was hugely impressed.
Farke told Joe Donnohue of the Yorkshire Evening Post that he felt Rodon showed a ‘warrior mentality’, praising him for his battling performance through injury.

Mixed news for Tottenham loanees at Leeds
The praise for Rodon is great and Leeds will hope to see him progress with more games and more confidence.
However, it’s not quite so positive for teammate Djed Spence, who is also on loan at Leeds from Tottenham.
The former Nottingham Forest ace has picked up a knee ligament injury and is thought to be out for ‘several weeks’.
Farke has told The Athletic’s Phil Hay that the injury doesn’t need surgery but Spence faces a number of weeks out.
Spence has only managed nine minutes in a Leeds shirt and fans must now wait a while to see him add to that total.
