Daniel Farke has told Norwich City’s official website that he ‘knows everything about Leeds United’ ahead of this evening’s top-of-the-table clash.

Second-placed Norwich visit the high-flying Whites at Elland Road today in what might be the biggest Championship game of the season so far.

Victory for Leeds would see Marcelo Bielsa’s side move six points clear of the Canaries, who will drop out of the automatic promotion spots if they lose and Sheffield United win.

Much has been made over the preparation that Bielsa does in the lead up to games this season, with the Argentine and his coaches renowned for obtaining as much data as possible about the opposition.

But Farke claims that he is no mug in this respect, revealing that he too knows a hell of a lot about Bielsa’s side.

“We are full of respect for them but we know we can win points against them. We know everything about Leeds. We’ve analysed them, what style they play,” he told City’s official website.

“I’m full of respect for Marcelo Bielsa. He’s doing a fantastic job. Every manager has their own methods but I’m just concentrated on my team, our style and our topics.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Farke can out-Bielsa his opposite number in West Yorkshire, obtain victory by finding out more about Leeds than Bielsa can about City.

The 63-year-old’s PowerPoint presentation last month illustrated that he does indeed boast mountains of data about Championship sides, but can he use what he knows against Norwich to boost his side’s promotion hopes? Time will tell.
